SPORTS – Newmarket & District Ringette Association

Chuck Middleton is the original co-founder & President of the Newmarket Ringette Association, which began it’s inaugural season back in 1993. He has been involved in Ringette for more than 22 years, and met some very amazing people in various capacities within the sport. At the end of the 1994-95 season, Chuck was awarded the Ontario Ringette Association’s “President’s Award” for his hard work in bringing the sport of Ringette to Newmarket. In 1998 he was honoured to be inducted into the Ontario Ringette “Hall of Fame” for his efforts to promote and encourage young ladies to join the incredible sport of Ringette.

CHARITY PARTICIPATION

Impact Business Systems has been an active participant with many local charities, and the following is a brief list of these;

Family Services York Region

Sponsor of their annual “Monopoly Tournament”, where the money raised is used to provide services for families in the local community that require their help

Alzheimer’s Society of York Region

Sponsor of their annual “Golf Tournament” where the money raised is used to improve services to their clientele who suffer from this disease.

DONATIONS

Every year Impact Business Systems is approached by many local charities and sport organizations to provide donations to various fundraising efforts. Unfortunately, there are only so many that we can assist, but we do try to select efforts that our staff are involved with.

We also donate used computer systems, printers and monitors that we have taken back from our clients as trade-ins, to local high schools that offer technical training programs in the computer service and repair sector. We feel that by providing this equipment to the students, they can gain some valuable experience working “hands-on” with real hardware, rather than studying from their text books.
